Making solution design more interactive, insightful, and human.
At Accenture, the primary objective of organizing solution mapping workshops is to enhance customer engagement and make the process more collaborative and interactive. One of the key challenges in achieving this was finding effective ways to actively involve customers in co-creating solutions. To address this, Accenture, in collaboration with ImmersionX, developed a smart modelling workspace built on MultiTaction, an interactive tabletop platform that combines multi-touch input with real-time object and marker recognition, letting the table sense and respond to physical blocks placed directly on its surface.
The Smart Modelling Workspace enables users to design workflows and solution roadmaps in real time through a highly intuitive, hands-on interface. Physical markers used in block models represent key aspects of business processes, allowing users to manipulate and connect them on a digital tabletop interface that blends physical interaction with digital modelling. The system is structured around a hierarchical framework consisting of:
The Smart Modelling Workspace experience makes complex solution models easier to understand and explore.
The experience helps increase stakeholder participation, simplify complex processes, strengthen collaboration, and accelerate consensus, enabling teams to generate clearer insights and build better solutions together.
