PenFed wanted to build excitement around their newly launched website and mobile app by highlighting their key features in an accessible way. Our task was twofold: create engaging social media content that showcased the app’s benefits to users and produce internal videos to help PenFed’s stakeholders understand the value of their digital transformation.

The challenge
Promoting the app’s features to two distinct audiences presented a unique challenge. For the public-facing social media campaign, we needed to quickly capture users’ attention and clearly explain how the app could simplify their daily banking needs.
For the internal videos, we had to develop content that communicated the technical and strategic benefits of the app to PenFed’s stakeholders, ensuring they understood its full value from both a user and business perspective.
Design to reality
For the social media promotion, we developed short, visually engaging videos that highlighted how the mobile app makes banking easier. Each video focused on one feature, such as account management or payment transfers, ensuring the content was digestible and relatable for the audience.
For PenFed’s internal presentations, we created a series of videos designed to walk stakeholders through the app’s functionality. These videos went beyond the surface-level features, demonstrating the app’s technical benefits, user experience improvements, and the overall value it would bring to PenFed’s members.
By clearly presenting the strategic advantages, these videos helped align stakeholder understanding and support for the new platform.

The impact
The social media campaign successfully increased awareness and user engagement with the new mobile app. The concise, feature-focused videos helped users quickly understand how the app could enhance their banking experience. Internally, the stakeholder videos provided a clear and compelling narrative about the value of PenFed’s digital initiatives, leading to positive feedback and stronger buy-in for the platform’s future growth.
