When HCL, a leading tech giant in India, wanted to highlight its legacy and cutting-edge technology solutions, they turned to us at ImmersionX. Our task was to create an immersive experience centre that would bring HCL’s journey to life, immersing visitors in the company’s rich history while showcasing their innovations both in India and on the global stage. 

The ChallEnge

The challenge was to craft a first-of-its-kind experience centre for HCL that combined historical storytelling with advanced tech displays. We had to ensure the space showcased HCL’s tech evolution and offered an engaging platform where users could explore both their past and present achievements. 

Design To Reality

We designed four distinct zones, each focused on showcasing HCL’s legacy and innovation. 

  • Timeline Zone: This zone featured an interactive multitouch table, offering visitors the freedom to explore HCL’s journey. Users could select specific milestones to dive into detailed information at their own pace. 
  • People Zone: Here, we used a dynamic screen to highlight HCL’s leadership. Visitors could click on any leader’s image, prompting a pop-up with key details and insights about their role and impact on the company.  
  • Product Zones: We introduced interactive pods that allowed visitors to explore HCL’s tech offerings. By engaging with these pods, they could browse through services and solutions in a hands-on manner. 

 To ensure seamless interaction across all zones, we implemented Fuze, our custom-built CMS. This system provided a streamlined interface, facilitating smooth functionalities for all exhibits. With this tech foundation, the installation balanced both innovative technology and practical design, offering an engaging and educational experience.

The Impact

HCL’s experience centre has since become a hub for events, training sessions, and visitor tours. With ImmersionX’s back-end support, the centre remains a go-to destination for a deep dive into HCL’s world, offering an experience that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who walks through its doors. The result is a space that meets HCL’s goals and exceeds them, proving that we at ImmersionX can bring any vision to life.
