When the Museum of Solutions, JSW, sought to develop an advanced, immersive educational space for children, they approached ImmersionX for expertise in designing interactive exhibits that combined education with engagement. We were tasked with creating a series of exhibits for the Discover Floor that would transform traditional learning into an interactive, hands-on experience.

Tata Projects, a leader in the EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) landscape, set out on an ambitious journey to embrace digital transformation. Partnering with ImmersionX, they created an engaging showcase for the Convergence 2024 event, where they unveiled their cutting-edge technologies like drone mapping, AI surveillance, and 3D Building Information Modelling (BIM). This initiative aimed to redefine how the construction industry approaches technology.

The challenge
The construction sector has long been wary of technology adoption. Tata Projects faced the challenge of shifting this mindset, aiming to clearly convey their commitment to enhancing project delivery through innovative solutions. They needed to showcase how these advancements could simplify complex processes and improve efficiency for diverse stakeholders.
Design to reality
To tackle this challenge, ImmersionX conceptualized an interactive showcase that would captivate the audience. We designed a series of dynamic displays featuring simulated drone flights and 3D modeling, all housed within an inviting and futuristic space. A standout element was a curved active LED screen that created an immersive environment. Attendees could interact with a touchscreen control table, allowing them to experience the innovative tools firsthand and understand their real-world applications in project planning and execution.
The impact
The Convergence 2024 event was a resounding success for Tata Projects. Attendees gained insight into the practical benefits of technology in construction, witnessing the capabilities of drone mapping, AI surveillance, and 3D BIM models in action. This showcase not only highlighted Tata Projects’ dedication to innovation but also positioned them as a forward-thinking leader ready to embrace the future of the construction industry.
