At Elecrama 2018, Siemens wanted to demonstrate more than individual products it wanted visitors to understand how generation, distribution, protection, monitoring, and optimization work together as one intelligent energy ecosystem. ImmersionX transformed this complex communication challenge into an interactive, experience-led journey that simplified smart infrastructure systems, demonstrated connected energy networks, showcased real-world industrial applications, and connected product intelligence with system-level understanding.
At the heart of the experience was the SensTable, combining a physical substation model with synchronized digital content. Visitors could explore the complete power distribution ecosystem through interactive scenarios, visualizing real-time energy flow, industrial and commercial applications, system protection, monitoring, and optimization. Complementing this was a three-sided immersive environment featuring interactive 1:1 product visualizations, exploded engineering views, diagnostic animations, and connected system simulations—creating a seamless transition from infrastructure-level understanding to individual product intelligence.
By combining physical-digital infrastructure simulations, real-time visualization, engineering animations, interactive storytelling, and multi-system synchronization, ImmersionX transformed highly technical infrastructure into an intuitive and engaging experience. Instead of static product displays, Siemens could demonstrate how individual components contribute to larger intelligent infrastructure networks, helping visitors understand not only what each product does, but how an entire connected energy ecosystem works together.
