Unwrap the future of packaging with Tetra Pak

When the Museum of Solutions, JSW, sought to develop an advanced, immersive educational space for children, they approached ImmersionX for expertise in designing interactive exhibits that combined education with engagement. We were tasked with creating a series of exhibits for the Discover Floor that would transform traditional learning into an interactive, hands-on experience.

Tetra Pak, a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions, wanted to create an immersive space where visitors could explore their cutting-edge innovations. The Tetra Pak Experience Centre in Pune needed a compelling way to present their packaging and manufacturing processes while showcasing their commitment to sustainability.

We partnered with them to design interactive content that would captivate and inform every visitor, blending storytelling with technology for a hands-on experience.

The challenge

Tetra Pak’s goal was to translate their highly technical manufacturing processes into an engaging, interactive journey. They needed to demonstrate their role in everyday life and highlight their sustainability efforts, all while keeping the content aligned with their brand identity.

The challenge was to create a digital experience that was both informative and approachable, ensuring that visitors could easily connect with the story behind Tetra Pak’s solutions.

Design to reality

To bring Tetra Pak’s vision to life, we designed two dynamic displays that seamlessly integrated multimedia content. One display featured product videos highlighting the packaging process, while the other focused on how Tetra Pak’s solutions touch everyday life. The technology behind these displays included touchscreens and projection mapping, allowing visitors to interact with the content and explore detailed breakdowns of the manufacturing process.

The highlight was an immersive, interactive interface that allowed users to explore Tetra Pak’s sustainability initiatives, such as their use of renewable materials and energy-efficient processes. This design made complex processes accessible and emphasised Tetra Pak’s dedication to innovation and the environment. The combination of interactive technology with storytelling created an engaging educational tool that kept visitors intrigued and informed.

The impact

The Tetra Pak Experience Centre now offers a clear, memorable journey through their packaging innovations and sustainability initiatives. Visitors leave with a deep understanding of how Tetra Pak’s processes work, as well as the impact they have on both consumers and the environment. The interactive experience fostered stronger connections with their audience, reinforcing Tetra Pak’s brand as a leader in sustainable innovation.
