Kanakia's bringing doodles to life with a virtual aquarium experience

Interactive Installation Design and Implementation

When the Museum of Solutions, JSW, sought to develop an advanced, immersive educational space for children, they approached ImmersionX for expertise in designing interactive exhibits that combined education with engagement. We were tasked with creating a series of exhibits for the Discover Floor that would transform traditional learning into an interactive, hands-on experience.

Imagine a world where your doodles dive into the deep blue sea. That’s exactly what we created at the Kanakia event—a vibrant virtual Aquarium where sketches of sea creatures became animated, offering a playful and educational adventure for both kids and adults.

The challenge

Kanakia needed a fresh way to engage a mixed audience, combining the fun of drawing with the excitement of technology. The goal was to craft an experience that would captivate users of all ages, blending creativity and tech in a way that felt both immersive and educational.

Design to reality

We turned an ordinary space into an extraordinary underwater playground. Users sketched their own sea creatures, which we then brought to life with projections. Over a whirlwind of four days, our team turned this concept into reality, ensuring that every detail—from the digital ocean to the interactive features—was spot on.

By merging art with technology in such an engaging way, we met and exceeded expectations, creating a memorable, interactive showcase that demonstrated our knack for turning creative ideas into something that you smile about looking back.
